Meaning of Technical Indicators of Hollow Glass Molecular Sieves
Static water adsorption (wt%): at a certain relative temperature and humidity, the larger the static water adsorption capacity, the better the molecular sieve quality; only when the relative humidity is low, the adsorption capacity can show the depth of drying capacity of molecular sieves.
Bulk density (g / ml): this parameter indicates the filling density of molecular sieves and only provides reference for customers.
Compressive strength (N/particles): If the compressive strength of molecular sieves does not meet the requirements, it will easily cause the breakage of molecular sieves and affect the service life of molecular sieves.
Packing water content (%): The smaller the packing water content, the less the pre-adsorbed water content, the larger the residual adsorbed water content, the stronger the dew point control ability and the better the quality of molecular sieves during storage and transportation.
Powder drop degree (mg/m3): The lower the powder drop, the less the dust of molecular sieve, which is more conducive to keeping the hollow glass clean and transparent, keeping the production environment clean and hygienic, and prolonging the life of molecular sieve filling machine.
Temperature rise Delta t (?): Temperature rise refers to the temperature rise of molecular sieves due to the release of heat from adsorbed water. Because the adsorption process of zeolite to water is exothermic, the instantaneous temperature rise of zeolite can be used as one of the criteria for judging the rapid water absorption capacity of zeolite. Under the same test method, the higher the instantaneous temperature rise, the stronger the adsorptive water efficiency of zeolite (low water content or large adsorptive capacity of zeolite).
The factors affecting temperature rise are as follows:
A. Relating to the way of measurement
(a) Relating to the amount of sampling, the larger the molecular sieve, the more water absorption, the more heat release and the higher the temperature rise;
B) It is related to measuring the shape of the container and whether the material is conducive to heat dissipation.
C) The more sensitive the thermometer is, the more accurate the temperature rise is.
B. The faster the adsorption, the higher the temperature rise.
C. It is related to the water content of molecular sieves. The lower the water content, the more intense the absorption and the higher the temperature rise.
D. Relating to the effective adsorption capacity of zeolite, the higher the content of raw powder, the higher the effective adsorption capacity and the higher the temperature rise of zeolite.
E. It is not necessarily the molecular sieve that the temperature rises due to the authenticity of the molecular sieve.
